Contouring: The Everyday Guide

Here is my Illustration! White- Highlighter Pink-Blush Brown- Bronzer I love the NAKED Flushed palette by Urban Decay! It has all 3 things in one place!

The word CONTOUR has had tons of hype in the beauty world lately. Brands from high end to drugstore are coming out with palettes and products to keep up with everyone’s obsession! I have to be 100% real that I did not buy into to this when I first saw Kim Kardashian’s perfectly chiseled clown face. To be honest it scared me, even as a professional, I felt the look was way too harsh for the everyday woman. After using myself as a guinea pig I have figured out a way to incorporate this into my every day routine and WOW does it make a difference! Contouring is basically highlighting and minimizing your features to make a better you!

Kim K she is fabulous and her face is always FLAWLESS! She cream contours which in my opinion is more time consuming than with powder and is not always flattering in different lighting. Cream Contouring is great for photo shoots, film, red carpet, special occasions, etc.

I use a combination of my light concealer and my Naked Flushed palette to contour. I find using powder is way easier for me to blend! You also get a more natural finish when using powder bronzer to contour! A big tip is for your bronzer to be a matte finish! This creates more definition on your face than a shimmery one. I also like having one product to use because it speeds up my morning routine! Also If you do not have specific contouring brush just take a regular blush brush and pinch it to make a line! I did this forever before I bought one!
