Premiere Birmingham Hair Show

 

Hey Y’all!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Premiere Birmingham Hair Show! It was such an inspiring weekend full of learning and girl time with my best pals! I seriously work with the best group of women! I feel so lucky because it’s rare that your work family becomes real family! All of us are unique in our own ways but I feel that is what makes us so strong as a TEAM! I constantly grow and change in my craft with these women by my side pushing me to be better and bouncing creativity off of each other! To be in the beauty industry is a BLESSING to say the least! Especially with my talented #GIRLSQUAD

I also had the pleasure of attending a VIP event with Sam Villa and Andrew Carruthers. Both men are very talented artist in the hair industry! I loved the technical skills they taught on stage but more importantly they are amazing people! As an artist it is very easy to get wrapped up in yourself, have hurt feelings, feel uninspired, and have your self-esteem broken. I have felt that way many times in my career that is why it is very important to attend classes like this and find BALANCE. I love the new hashtag #artistsupportingartist they are promoting because that is exactly what we should be doing! It is a privilege to wake up and do what we do everyday, Let’s SUPPORT each other!!!
